Raising a Gesture - Focus on Your Pinky Finger

Your fingers are significant when making a gesture. When you make a gesture, focus on your pinky finger, and the rest of the fingers fall in line. In the picture below, there is no tension in the hand. The pinky finger points towards the sky, and it is as straight as possible, without tension. Because there is no tension, the pinky must be slightly bent.

Also, notice how much light is between the index finger and the thumb. Showing light between your fingers shows power, but even more importantly, it shows intelligence. The biggest key is zero tension in the hands and fingers.

Also, notice that the background of the hand is the shirt, which is using my Phone Booth technique. When your shirt does not hide your gestures, and they are outside your phone booth, they distract the viewer's eye.

When you bring up a gesture and you want the fingers of the hand to be perfect, just focus on perfecting your pinky finger. The rest of the fingers will fall in line.
